SAMANSA x MovieBloc Online Film Festival: SSTRUCK Ended Successfully

The online film festival 'SSTRUCK,' co-hosted by the global short film platform MovieBloc and SAMANSA, successfully concluded on August 6. This festival, the first collaboration between Korean and Japanese short film platforms, was held from July 9 to August 6 on the MovieBloc website. The two platforms signed an MOU in July to strengthen their exchange of short film content.

The festival featured four short films produced and invested in by SAMANSA: "The Great Cherokee Grandmother," "Balloon," "Iron Lung," and "Secret Gospel." According to MovieBloc, the festival attracted over 1,100 viewers, achieving significant success. Due to this positive reception, the festival, initially scheduled for a limited release in Korea until July 16, was extended and expanded for a global audience until August 6.

A MovieBloc representative commemorated the conclusion of the online film festival, stating, "We are grateful for the support shown for this collaborative film festival between the short film platforms of Korea and Japan. We look forward to continuing our partnership to provide even more content to audiences."
